Riku?

Every time I've ranked Riku, he's risen up a little bit on the rubric. This is no exception. I'm SLIGHTLY hesitant to give him "F*ing Devour Me" outright, but...only slightly. Even giving him a floating middle rank seems unfair, so...eh. I'll cave in to the pressures of me own heart.

That's kind of what the game tells you to do anyway, after all. :P

ANYWAY...Riku was one of the first "anime boi" crushes I ever formed, back when KH vore was a really, REALLY big deal and kind of all over the place. When I fell out of favor with the franchise, kink-wise, he thus took a backseat to other crushes. But, in recent years, with my changing interests and my love for KH in general being heavily rekindled, he's taken an uptick in fascination.

I think the reason Riku appeals to me, and appeals to a lot of people, is because of the type of character he is: he's another case of a redeemed bad guy who, even after being reformed, still has a lot of rough edges. He's angsty, though not necessarily stoic, and he's got a mean side to him even after becoming a good guy again. But even in his darkest moments, there was always hope he could come back to the light. Characters like that - who eternally walk a fine line between good and evil - can be REALLY fun to play with, because you can either "nasty-ify" them or "sweety-ify" them for your needs and interests and, as long as you get the core basics of the character down, they still work and can fit in multiple scenarios. I can easily see Riku as a safe pred, swallowing people he cares about to either keep them safe, express his love for them, or just tease them a bit. I can also see him as a fatal pred, under the right circumstances, which only adds to the appeal. So, "F*ing Devour Me" he gets. This may or may not change in the future.

As for the prey spectrum...ehhhhhh, difficult to say. I'm gonna go with a floating lower rank there, between "Maybe a Snack" and "Pretty Tasty." Because I can think of multiple situations and scenarios where Riku would become prey to some beast or other villain or what have you, but I'm not sure exactly how much I love them. So I think that's just the most fair judgment I can offer right now.
